East Bierley was filled with colour and creativity as the Scarecrow Festival returned for 2025. Residents displayed handmade scarecrows across gardens, greens and roadsides.
Entries ranged from traditional scarecrows to characters inspired by films and local folklore. Visitors followed a trail map and voted for their favourites, while judges selected overall winners.
The festival raised funds for village projects and brought neighbours together, strengthening community ties through shared creativity.
